Just a train of thought that keeps getting me…

If a man was to use discipline, hardwork, manipulation…etc, he might gain the world. Yet, in the end, it would be a world with boundaries, limits, and ultimately an end. If the same man was to use humility and faith, he would find intimacy with the Holy Spirit and enter into a world with no boundaries or limits and no end.

I understand manipulation, but discipline and hardwork? Are they necessarily bad things? Can discipline, faith, hardwork, and humility coexist simultaneously?

I honestly could not agree with you more. That is the exact same thing that God has put on my heart. Lasting CHANGE comes from removing ourselves the barriers and letting His Holy Spirit flow through an open channel where your right, its limitless. I printed out what you wrote. Its hanging up. THANK YOU.

I just read yall’s comments and I agree. God is a God of discipline and order and peace , not confusion. I believe discipline does flow from letting the Holy Srirt take control, and the fruit of service is a by product, not the seed.
